As you may have noticed, there haven't been any updates
The latest EUMetsat image (18Z on Thurs 28th) gives a nice view of the approaching cold-frontal system. Two interesting features are visible: 1. The predominantly West-East orientation of the front (most mid-latitude cold-fronts are oriented North-South). 2. The large area of extrememly cold (and dry air) pushing up from the South (shown as deep reddish-brown in this false-colour Airmass image).
